Oscar Nominees 2008 Oscar Nominees - The official list of Oscar nominees has been released.

I've only glanced at the list, but I don't see any big surprises. Of the Best Picture nominees, I've only seen The Reader. I'm hearing great things about Slumdog Millionaire and Frost/Nixon and suspect one of those will win. Mickey Rourke and Meryl Streep seem to be a lock for Actor and Actress. Heath Ledger will win Supporting Actor and I have no idea about Supporting Actress.

Gran Torino Two thumbs way up, for Gran Torino, the new Eastwood film. Recommended.
