X-Men 3 X-Men 3 sucked, and it should (despite its overwhelming commercial success) spell the end of the franchise. We now know that Bryan Singer was the secret behind the first two films.
Bonds Dear Barry Bonds: You are a cheater. We don't care how many homeruns you've hit.
Just Give Me a Simple Phone Add me to this list: Just Give Me a Simple Phone. I don't need one million features. I need a phone and maybe voicemail.

Microsoft Details Vista Requirements This BetaNews article has the details. Basically, you'll need to build/buy a new PC if you really want to run Vista with all of the bells and whistles cranked wide open. However, your XP machine will work just fine if you're not interested in Aero (scroll down) and other frills.

Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor Beta "The Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor is a small beta application that you can run on your current Windows XP-based computer to find out if it's ready for an upgrade to Windows Vista. When you run the Upgrade Advisor, it will scan your computer and generate an easy-to-understand report of any known system and device compatibility issues, along with recommendations on how you can get your PC ready for Windows Vista. Microsoft plans to add functionality to Upgrade Advisor, such as checking how your software applications will run with Windows Vista. Download the beta version today and check this site in a few months for a new version."

'24' on iTunes I bought an episode of '24' via iTunes for two bucks. I'm not impressed with the video quality at all. It's looks crappy running fullscreen.

Warner Bros. to Sell Films Via BitTorrent MSNBC: "Warner Bros. will become the first major studio to distribute its films and TV shows over the Internet using peer-to-peer technology developed by BitTorrent Inc., the home of a popular tool for trading pirated copies of movies. The companies did not specify a date but said the service will be offered starting this summer. Pricing is also undetermined, although individual TV shows could be priced as low as $1 and movies will be sold for about the price of buying a DVD, BitTorrent said."

Survivor I think it's safe to say that Danielle will win Survivor. About three weeks ago, it was reported in Internet newsgroups/forums that she was the winner. After last night's episode, it looks certain. What started the rumors last month? Irregular betting on her. Evidently someone in the production crew leaked it.

All-Time Worst Blockbusters Speaking of George Lucas, go here and scroll down to Number 3 on the list. Nice.

Finally, the Original, Original Star Wars Trilogy on DVD
Dear George Lucas:

Congratulations! You did it, you SOB. Yes, you've managed to steal $50 from me, come September. I also want to thank you for making my previous purchase worthless on eBay, as the new (but orignal) Trilogy release will contain the retarded versions of the Trilogy that I've already purchased. I realize that this is my fault, as I knew you'd do this as soon as everyone purchased the retarded versions. You treat your fans as poorly as the RIAA and MPAA treat its customers.

Your Buddy,

Donny

PS: You suck as a director. See your prequels for further info.

Superman Returns Trailer A new trailer for Superman Returns is here. I like Kevin Spacey, but I'm still not buying him as Lex Luthor, as portrayed in this clip. Perhaps as a serious Lex, such as in Smallville, but an insane Lex.

Bryant Park Film Festival Here is one of the things that I really miss about living in NYC: The Bryant Park Film Festival. Sponsored by HBO, the festival runs for 10 weeks and features classic films. You get there early and save a spot on the grass at Bryant Park. Most people bring a "beverage" of choice to enjoy and share with others. Great fun.
