Shrek 2 As Ebert said, "It's no Shrek." Puss in Boots, a new character, voiced by Antonia Banderas, manages to salvage this uninspired screenplay. A note to the creators: please kill this series. The first movie was pure genius, but the magic is gone.
Gumbo Just a little personal update...Courtney and I are in Louisiana this weekend, visiting her family. Her mother cooked a large pot of shrimp gumbo last night. There is plenty of cold beer. Giddy-Up!

Tests Confirm Sarin in Iraqi Artillery Shell "Tests on an artillery shell that blew up in Iraq on Saturday confirm that it did contain an estimated three or four liters of the deadly nerve agent sarin, Defense Department officials told Fox News Tuesday. The artillery shell was being used as an improvised roadside bomb, the U.S. military said Monday. The 155-mm shell exploded before it could be rendered inoperable, and two U.S. soldiers were treated for minor exposure to the nerve agent."

Movable Type I've been very pleased with how Movable Type powers this weblog. However, if you're running multiple weblogs, perhaps WordPress is a better choice. Mark Pilgrim elaborates. Simply put: Movable Type has never been and is not Free Software. There is a 'free' version, but there are restrictions on its use. WordPress is truly free and there are no restrictions on its use.
