Court Poll Rasmussen: "While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama's supporters agree."

I believe this statistic alone may reveal one of the reasons why there is such a disconnect between many of us, politically. It would seem that, in general, we are divided into two main groups: (1) a group that wants to play by the rules, and (2) a group with little or no regard for the rules.

Surely, it's not really that simple. The mindset of wanting to throw the Constitution out the door is hard for me to understand. Surely this poll is not accurate. I just can't believe that so many people think judges should make decisions, with no regard for the rule of law.
