CompUSA to Close Shop Good riddance. I had the unfortunate experience of working for this company for three months. Sales people were often poorly trained and/or dishonest and they would regularly make promises to customers about warranty/replacement/service plans that were not accurate or worse, misleading. I was hired as a technician, but the store manager made it quite obvious, early on, that he didn't care if I ever fixed anything, as long as I sold more products and warranties. This didn't sit very well with me. I had no interest in sales.
