Fellowship of the Ring: Extended Version Just watched the special extended version of Fellowship of the Ring. It's about 40 minutes longer than the theatrical version. If you've never seen the original, then, of course, you should see this longer version. However, in my opinion, there is no must-see footage in the longer version. It's all really cool, but doesn't really add anything particularly significant. If you've got 208 minutes to kill, go ahead and check it out. Otherwise, the original is just fine.
