Memphis Courtney and I spent the weekend in Memphis, TN. It was a restful trip, paid for by her employer. Memphis is a 200 miles away, a pleasant drive north via I-55. We stayed at the downtown Marriott. There is a trolley system, which makes getting around the Main Street/Beale Street area rather easy. The dry-style ribs at Rendevous were recommended to us, so we found the place and helped ourselves. The ribs were excellent, but the decor and atmosphere were even better. If you're into food and music, put Memphis on your list of cities to visit. Did I mention Elvis? I think every other business had a "Elvis Fans Welcome" banner.
