A.C. Douglas writes, "I confess to finding myself mostly in agreement with these old-school journalists as well as with Mr. O'Neill, and confess further to being more than a little annoyed by the conceit that blogging is in some way genuine journalism. It's of course nothing of the sort, unless journalism be defined in so broad a way as to render the term effectively meaningless except as a tag to distinguish it from scholarly writing, or from what is called "literary" writing."
