Our trip to the Bay Area was relaxing. On Friday, We toured San Francisco with Izzy and Mary-Jo. Highlights included Coit Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Pier 39, North Beach Pizza and Alamo Square. It's hard to comprehend how steep the streets are until you've walked up a few of them. On Saturday we visited with Derek, Patti, Dane and Katie in Fremont. As usual, Patti cooked a delicious meal. On Sunday we took a drive to Capitola, just north of Santa Cruz. There, we enjoyed a vew of the Pacific while dining with Jeremy and Lillian. We flew out of San Francisco yesterday morning, despite the NY terrorism scares. The captain of our flight actually gave us an update on the situation in NY before we took off. We really enjoyed seeing everyone. Thanks for your hospitality.
