The tragic events that occurred yesterday have left me with a sick feeling. I was glued to CNN and Brokaw last night. Having been to the World Trade Center personally, on many occasion, this has affectd me greatly. It just doesn't seem real. I can't stop thinking about the unfortunate people inside the hijacked planes, the people inside the buildings, and the many rescue workers, firefighters and police officers that lost their lives.
I have received numerous emails from friends in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and they are OK. I've spoken on the phone with two of my friends. They both witnessed the second plane collision, and they felt the explosion from over a mile away, across the East River.
