My first month of marriage has been great.

The final version of DivX 4.0 is now available for download.

Last night I used Morpheus for the first time. It seems to work pretty good. I was able to find and download the MP3 that I was looking for. What more could one ask for?

This guy is having a bad week. "That's gonna hurt in the morning."

How 'bout those Yankees!

Are you tired of getting those AOL CD's in the mail? If so, you'll like this.

Courtney and I had a great time on the coast. We stayed at Beth's parent's home in Biloxi. We saw lots of our friends at the convention and enjoyed several great meals.

If you're ever in Gulfport, be sure to check out Montana's Seafood & BBQ. Vegetarians need not visit, as it's a meat-lover's paradise.

We joined Misha, Derek, and Evan at Chili's in Hattiesburg last night for supper. Their steak fajitas were excellent.

Reason 1,001 that everyone hates Hotmail.

Is your computer secure? If you're running Windows 2000, be sure to check this out.

Jim provides us with another great use for duct tape. Now that's embarrasing! Apparently, this unfortunate duct taper user's father is a lawyer.

Well, the Broomeman is away and he left me (Jeremy Blonde) in charge.

The Yolo County Fair is in town. It's going to be hot around here.

I will be on the Gulf Coast beginning tonight. Expect an update next week.

Jeremy Blonde has been given the "keys to the Kingdom", and he will be posting new commentary tomorrow.

I got my phone bill to discover that BellSouth was kind enough to charge me 19 cents per minute for long distance calls within the state! Stuff like that can make a fellow mad. Needless to say, I switched long distance providers. I'm now using Accxx Communications. Their price is 5.9 cents per minute for the same calls. Out of state long distance is 4.9 cents per minute.

Go visit MyTravelRights to find out what airlines owe you when you are delayed and it's their fault. It seems that the magic words are "Rule 240" when you're at a ticket counter!

Windows XP is almost ready for release. I would like to test it, but history has shown the wisdom behind waiting until at least the first Service Pack before upgrading to a new M$ operating system.

Courtney and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend. We kept a low profile on Saturday, and drove down to Stephen and Beth's for a cookout on Sunday evening.

One of the movies we watched was Supernova. It was fairly entertaining, and it was not too long.

CloneCD 3.0.6.1 has been released.

Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 killed QuickTime. No fix from M$ or Apple, yet.

Check out this funny article by Dave Barry concerning North Dakota attempting to rename itself.

The wedding snapshots are now located here.

The stinkin' AC unit at our apartment is a sad excuse for a MS cooling solution. Bring on winter!

Tonight is a beer and pizza night.

There is new commentary. Most of it was written by Jeremy Blonde.

Did anyone watch Dubya's speech last night? His tie was so crooked! I just wanted to reach into the TV and straighten it out!

Microsoft confirmed that some servers running its MSN Hotmail service were infected with a version of the Code Red worm. Now isn't that embarrasing?

QuickTime 5.0.2 is now available for download.

Courtney and I have dozens of 'Thank-You' notes to write. I hope we don't forget anyone. People get uptight over not receiving them.

If the weather is not too bad, we might go to Vicksburg on Saturday afternoon.

Clones, clones, and more clones. Enough already!

Got a chance to listen to REM's album 'Reveal'. What a disappointment! A former roommate of mine said it best, when he stated that they have "not grown". Amen. Not a bit.

'Killer-Mom' has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

The U.S. government spent $65 million investigating Bill Clinton, and now the case is closed. You may recall that on his final day in office, Clinton admitted giving evasive and misleading testimony — in exchange for not being indicted. Does this 'amuse' you?

Microsoft has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their appeal.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

It seems that many of you have yet to see 'O Brother Where Art Thou?'. Well, here's another plug for it. Read this review, and then go rent it.

Courtney and I travelled to Bogalusa on Saturday to visit her family. Her dad had 'Unbreakable' on DVD, and I watched it for the first time. I really enjoyed it. If you haven't seen it, be sure to check it out.

On Sunday night we went over to Stephen and Beth's. Derek and Misha were there. Beth prepared a delicious supper for us. Derek showed us his super, pumped-up laptop that he just got. We watched 'The Wizard of Oz' to the tune of 'Dark Side of the Moon'. If you've never done this before, read about it here, and then drink a couple of beers, and give it a try. Briefly, the way it works is this: You start the album at the third roar of the MGM lion at the beginning of the film. Turn the volume off on the movie, and notice how the events in the film correspond with the album. It's quite amazing.

The A/C in our apartment went completely out on Friday. Fortunately we were gone all weekend. The technician is supposed to repair it today. What a crock. What part of "I want my house 65 degrees" does my landlord not understand?

I downloaded and installed SP2 for Internet Explorer 5.5 at home. It seems to be working great. It's rumored that IE 6 will be released next week as final.
